Why me
I was a contract worker too.
As a professional footballer, my income came on contracts, so I know how standard banks treat it. This year I’ve helped a number of AFL players with their lending.
Now I find the lenders whose policies fit contractors, ABN holders, FIFO and casual workers, and present your income the way they assess it. One 20-minute call, then I handle the rest.
Quick answers
Do I need 2 years of tax returns?
Not always. PAYG contractors paid through payroll or an agency are often assessed like employees, using the contract and payslips. Some lenders accept ABN holders with around 12 months of trading, especially if you did the same work before. We’ll check which fit you.
I’ve only just started my contract. Can I still apply?
Often, yes. Many lenders look at your history in the same line of work, not just time in the current contract. Time left on the contract and any gaps between contracts matter too.
I’m casual or FIFO with lots of overtime. Does it count?
Select lenders count a higher share of casual, overtime and allowance income than others, which can lift what you can borrow. That’s exactly what the call is for.
Does this cost anything?
No. The call and your plan are free. If you go ahead, I’m usually paid a commission by the lender, and I’ll disclose it before you proceed.
